Recession Proof - Rubber and You

The bounce back factor, which is to say,
how long does it take for you to bounce
back, this factor, is the one element
of your success which you have the best
chance of controlling to your betterment.
Bounce back happens when you are doing
nothing wrong but someone else believes
that you are, and takes it upon themselves
to improve your lot in life by helping
you understand how correct they are and
how incorrect you are. The bounce back
factor has also been known by other names
and at other times as a focus of how the
spirit of success in America works.

Bounce back as a financial process involves
bringing the value of your dollar that has
diminished, back into your budget. Here is
a quick example, when the price of gas goes
up, the cost at the pump goes up, one very
simple way to return that cost to your
budget is to rethink your use of the vehicle.
Not hard is it? Common sense, really, isn't
it, but you would be amazed at the number of
people who continue to use their vehicle
as if the cost of fuel remained constant,
hadn't gone up, and then, can't reason
through the lack of that dollar in their
end product budget if they have one. This
idea of bounce back is so simple that it
almost goes without saying, and yet, it is
worth saying, because it involves this
very simple process of thinking through
the result of a change.

Change is a part of making your total
bank account and therefore, your total
amount of funds, recession proof- we
know you can't control the value of money.
We know you can control the value that
your money is worth in your life. Lets
look at it this way- a friend purchased
a group membership buying plan for about
$800.00 dollars which was taken out in
monthly installments of about $50.00.
Because the club is a buying club, it
allows my bud to be a business, which
cost them $25.00 to register their L.L.C.,
thereby, transacting their purchase into
a business expense. Now for the fun
part about value- two couches, one
has a cost of $1200.00, the other, which
is part of this purchase group, has a
cost of $250.00, same exact couch- now,
under the plan, my bud has actually only
spent $50.00 (month purchased in) plus
$25.00 - and the $250.00 for the couch.
The other feller paid $1200.00, both enjoy
the same sit, on the same place, so to say.
My friend at the end of the game will
be able to claim that couch as a piece of
office furniture, which it is, reclaim
it's value, which it has, and also the
space it sits in, plus other matters.
The other person gets to sit on the couch
with no return value other than a nice
piece of furniture. As this plays out
over the time of the investment in the
buying group, my friend will save, as we
have, thousands of dollars per year,
versus the other individuals who will
spend that, plus, not gaining any tax
advantage for the long run.

"Aw For Goodness Sakes..."

One of the social media leaders that has shown me so much
respect in this past year, Mari Smith, said this in her
bestselling book "The Relationship Age," "always be positive
and add value to others." Mari's great at this, she is
an encourager, and a leader who draws emulation, but more
than that, the fact of her influence permeates throughout
her organization. For goodness sakes, if you've missed
a chance to get to know this wonderful leader, don't let
another day go bye without finding her, you will be so
glad you did.

One of the people that Mari speaks highly of is John Assaraf,
and John brings content to us that is as fresh and positive,
as the great depth messages which Mari provides, John, however,
is more a leader in the positive mental attitude type of
material, whereas Mari is about helping us get Facebook
into our lives in a richer way. Both are fantastically
helpful, but if you are like me, the John type material
is sometimes nice to consider? John posted this amazing
video; and while Mari precautions us against being negative,
there are some folks that it would be fun to hidestrap to
a chair and watch them reject what they were seeing! Aw
for goodness sakes...that's not really negative is it-
they wouldn't watch it, but it would be fun to watch them
try not to hear these amazing words of insight...wouldn't it?

With few exceptions we all get to deal with negative folks.
Don't know anybody in life who has no contact with the
"dark side," do you? So when we get a chance to be lifted
into a better, higher, more thoughtful plain, what can it
hurt? If you know someone that tends to be a bit negative,
have you thought about inviting them for a lunch, tell them
"hey, I'll cook the burgers..." Once they are on your turf,
you can play the video...in the background...who knows...
John says the subconscious is supremely more powerful than
we realize, think he's right?

Education, Schools and You

Bill Gates speaks out on education:

So the question to us is, what are we going to do
about it? Right now in our rural community we're
taking the approach that we can make a difference
but that we're going to go about it by being
extremely headstrong in the wrong directions, if
you consider ill advised directions to be the best
ways to go? The best and brightest are advising our
leaders to attempt to go another way, but so far,
those consensus opinions are not being listened
to, and the ones who are going to pay for that,
I'm afraid, are the ones with no voice in it,
the students.

Green is Good in Rural America - Pass It On...

One of my friends in the community has started a program that
you probably already have in yours, what she suggests is that
we get on board with cleaning up the community.  But what's
really cool about her approach is, she's showing us what the
deal is...hard to argue with a photograph isn't it?

Wow its easy to see what we need to do, and one has to respect someone with the courage to get photos and publish them on the Facebook and get it in motion. Thanks to this local leader the hope is we'll move out on this green friendly project. This video is just to support Mrs. Frazier in her
efforts and to bring into the picture some ideas about how
as a people we've lost focus on this issue, what do you think?

Al Gore has been talking about the earth
we aren't caring for for a decade or more, and, while he's on the "big picture" this lady is getting it done on the local level- and she got my attention with something that is simple and doable and worthwhile for us all.

Nicole Frazier Alderwoman, Springhill Louisiana,
has no idea that I put this together, she didn't ask me
to, she doesn't even know it's out ...but her idea is
so cool and the way she went about it on Facebook is so cool that it just seemed like something the
folks on social media might get behind?  Would love
to hear your ideas because we all need to get on
making it better where we can, don't you think?
